Due to the wear of plunger coupling and delivery valve coupling parts, diesel oil leakage will be caused, and the fuel supply of each cylinder will be reduced or uneven, resulting in difficult start-up, insufficient power, increased fuel consumption and unstable operation of diesel engine. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly check and adjust the fuel supply quantity of each cylinder of the fuel injection pump to ensure the exertion of diesel engine power. In practical use, the fuel supply quantity of each cylinder can be determined by observing the smoke exhaust of diesel generator, listening to the engine sound and touching the exhaust manifold temperature.

Use standard high pressure tubing.

Due to the compressibility of diesel oil and the elasticity of high-pressure oil pipe, the high-pressure diesel oil will form pressure fluctuation in the pipe during the fuel supply process of fuel injection pump. It takes a certain time for the pressure wave to be transmitted in the pipe. In order to ensure that the oil supply interval angle of each cylinder is consistent, the fuel supply is uniform, and the diesel engine works smoothly, the length and diameter of the high-pressure oil pipe are selected after calculation. Therefore, when the high pressure oil pipe of a certain cylinder is damaged, the oil pipe with standard length and pipe diameter should be replaced. In practical use, due to the lack of standard tubing, other tubing is used instead, regardless of whether the length and diameter of tubing are the same, which makes the length and diameter of tubing vary greatly. Although it can be used in emergency, it will lead to the change of oil supply advance angle and oil supply quantity of the cylinder, resulting in unstable operation of the whole machine. Therefore, standard high-pressure oil pipe must be used in use.
