Generally speaking, the requirements for diesel oil filtration of diesel generator are much higher than that of gasoline engine. Diesel oil of required brand should be selected and precipitated for at least 48 hours. Strengthen the cleaning and maintenance of the diesel filter, clean or replace the filter element in time; clean the diesel tank in time according to the working environment conditions to completely remove the sludge and moisture at the bottom of the tank. Any impurity in diesel oil will cause serious corrosion or wear to the plunger, delivery valve and transmission parts of the fuel injection pump.

Regularly check and adjust the fuel supply advance angle of the fuel injection pump and the fuel supply interval angle of each cylinder.

In use, due to the looseness of coupling bolts and the wear of camshaft and roller body parts, the oil supply advance angle and oil supply interval angle of each cylinder often change, which makes the diesel combustion worse, the power performance and economy of diesel engine become worse, at the same time, it is difficult to start, run stably, make abnormal noise and overheat, etc. In practical use, most drivers pay attention to the inspection and adjustment of the overall fuel supply advance angle, but ignore the inspection and adjustment of the fuel supply interval angle (involving the adjustment of the fuel supply advance angle of a single pump). After the overall adjustment, although the fuel supply of the first cylinder is timing, the fuel supply of the remaining cylinders is not always timely due to the wear and tear of the camshaft and roller transmission parts, which also leads to the difficulty in starting the diesel engine Especially for the fuel injection pump which has been used for a long time, we should pay more attention to the inspection and adjustment of the fuel supply interval angle.
